Stop-motion animator Stefan Sokal needed sound design and a catchy tune for CIT’s Holiday greeting card. Tangerine Hero is on the scene to help IQ Agency deliver.
These whimsical videos featured stop-frame animation of hand-cut paper elements, augmented by brilliant (but mostly invisible) After Effects work. Each of the five videos had a custom score featuring cheery ukeleles, composed by Joel while at IQ Agency. Chris Wood, Lindsay Appel, and Stefan Sokal made it beautiful.
Created for IHG’s Priority Club eMagazine, these videos educate members in using earned points and the opportunities available to them. The integration of custom video and rich media animation turned this program into a successful and award-winning package.

Suntrust created this overview to guide their customers through the intricacies of online banking. Tangerine Hero provided the custom music track, which was used throughout the site on several videos.
Developed for a theme-featured experimental micro site, these videos served as transition elements from the web site home page to a secondary landing page. Traveling through the main Universal poster, the viewer gets a brief glimpse into the world they select. Ultimately, the viewer would travel through the “Now Playing” text element, which led to a secondary landing page.

Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. This video was created to introduce EES, a global training organization developed to educate healthcare professionals, as well as provide a forum to interact, grow, and exchange ideas.

Tangerine Hero wrote and recorded several demos for the project using his favorite compositional sketchpad, Reason. The winning track featured the honest sincerity of Mrs. Mills’ piano, from the Propellerhead Abbey Road Refill.
The AJC ad campaign positioned the Sunday paper as a great way to unplug on the weekend.
Initially a songwriter was brought in to write something “authentic”… but his lyrics contained too many objectionables “negatives” for the client’s tastes, so a gentle acoustic guitar performance by Tangerine Hero ended up winning the day.
